The Background
Parks for People is a jointly funded programme for the restoration and regeneration of green spaces. The two lottery distribution bodies wanted to look at how individual projects were evaluating their success as well as looking at what impact the programme as a whole has delivered.
The Objective
CFP are working with a national consultancy to deliver this exciting 3 year project. We have designed workshops and a framework for projects to help them self evaluate their success.

CFP bring technical knowledge of the sector and also the grant programme to this project. With skilled facilitators and researchers in our team we are helping provide support to projects that will mean they are in a better position to measure and demonstrate the value of what they deliver.
The Result
Those projects where monitoring and evaluation have been planned in the early stages of project development have typically found that the process has been most successful. Dedicated resources and clear responsibility for revenue activities are important to ensure that projects deliver all the five Parks for People programme outcomes.
