The Background
This commission took the form of a stage review of a Heritage Lottery Fund application seeking to undertake restoration work to an important local landmark: Oak House Gardens and Barns
The Objective
These highly complex processes can benefit from independent external scrutiny in order to highlight good practice and to offer suggestions for areas of improvement that might be made for future projects.

The combination of an ability to construct a story of the process from multiple stakeholder inputs together with the confidence shown by the client enables intra departmental procedures to be examined to maximum effect.
The Result
The scrutiny process allows for reflection and consideration of how best to proceed into the next stage of the project or to the next project – it allows lessons to be learned and acted upon.
