Ian set up CFP in 2001 and has steered the company’s growth ever since. Ian has a strong reputation in the green space and heritage fields, and has written a number of national guidance documents and publications, taken part in national steering groups and task force working groups and recently led the CFP team in the State of UK Public Parks research.
He has been an advisor to national organisations such as CABE Space and the Civic Trust. He was also invited to join the RSA as a Fellow for his national contribution and is a Member of the Market Research Society. Recently he has secured his place on the National Lottery Heritage Fund Register of Specialist Services as an advisor in natural heritage having been on the list since 2005. Ian has also recently become a fellow of the Landscape Institute.
In his spare time Ian is a keen cyclist. He is a qualified British Cycling coach and runs a cycle club for young people with learning difficulties.
