The Midlands Parks Forum
CFP is a core supporter of the Midlands Parks Forum. We helped facilitate the original workshop that led to the creation of the forum, we helped with the NLHF bid and we now employ the forum’s Partnership Manager and provide an office base.
CFP also provide ongoing free of charge support including surveys, national networking and promotion and support for the Partnership Manager.
The Midlands Parks Forum is a young and vibrant organisation which is evolving from the West Midlands Parks Forum, which has been established for 33 years, and the East Midlands Parks Forum, which was re-establishing after a period of decline. The new combined organisation will become the voice for parks and green spaces in the Midlands.
MPF secured NLHF funding to take the organisation forward and create a regional network that will greatly benefit parks and greenspaces managers by equipping them with the support, information and skills needed to make well informed decisions, effectively champion parks and greenspaces and influence local and national policy and decisions.
MPF was registered as a charity in 2019 and its formal launch was planned for April 2020 but has been impacted by Covid 19.
